    September 11, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
People's Light, 39 Conestoga Rd, Malvern, PA 19355, USA

It's an all-ages musical conversation! Talented musicians and longtime friends Reggie Harris and Alastair Moock take audiences through an exploration of history and current events in this drive-in concert for the family. Harris and Moock use the powerful tool of music to discuss complicated issues of race, class, gender and history with intentionality and generosity of spirit.

Our Drive-In Concerts take place in the back parking lot of our campus at 39 Conestoga Road, Malvern, PA. The show will be one 75 to 90-minute set. It is our goal to start and end on time. Musicians will perform on a raised stage at the back of the lot.

  • Race and Song Showcase 8pm ET

    September 23, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Reggie Harris and Alastair Moock are pleased to offer a free showcase of their presentation Race and  Song, open to the public. RACE AND SONG is an exploration of history and current events through the lens of race –– and using the powerful tool of music. Veteran musicians and storytelling troubadours, Reggie Harris and Alastair Moock, rely on their years’ old friendship to discuss complicated issues of race, class, gender and history with intentionality and generosity of spirit. Together in musical conversation, they open up to each other and frame their lived experiences through music (which always helps the medicine go down!) and the use of historical and family photos.

Tune in and check out this remarkable collaboration between two of the most gifted, engaging and honest performers as they share knowledge and hope.
